Plant-based burger maker The Vurger Co is set to open its first permanent site in London’s Shoreditch on 12 March.
The new restaurant follows a successful crowdfunding campaign off the back of pop-ups at festivals and throughout London.
The new site will host The Vurger Co’s full menu including the bestselling Tabasco Auburger made from aubergines, chickpeas, red onion and vegan cheese.
Founder Rachel Hugh said: “We couldn’t be happier. We have lived in East London for over 10 years and we adore its vibe and authenticity.
“We have traded in the area for two years through various pop ups, events and festivals so moving into Shoreditch was the perfect match for The Vurger Co.
“We just can’t wait to get started and continue to revolutionise fast food through the power of plants.”
The restaurant will have indoor and outdoor seating offering a capacity of about 30.
It will serve Canyon coffee as well as a selection of beers, wines and soft drinks.
